about the artist




Cora May Armstrong is an interdisciplinary artist currently living and working in Portland, Oregon. Their work explores connections between ecology and the mind. Their current focus is on knitting and other textile processes, and their work largely takes the form of wall-hung knit tapestries. Their practice also involves other media including painting, printmaking, sculpture, and papermaking. Cora received their BFA in Studio Art from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University in 2024.
